PLease explain how this is a paradox?

Killing with cherishing involves contradictory concepts and is therefore ironic. (What Juliet means is that, if she loves Romeo too much to let him go, she'll cause him to be arrested and killed.) Then "sweet sorrow" ( which could also be considered an oxymoron) involves similar contradictions. Both such contradictions are paradoxes.
