Should my husband be excited now?

my husband and I just made the decision to try and conceive. I am probably overly excited. I have been making budgets and looking and pricing baby stuff already and im not even pregnant yet... my husband says he is ready for a baby but he hasnt really gotten excited yet, but then again im not pregnant yet. my question is, should i expect him to be really excited now or wait until im pregnant to see his excitement??
