In love with someone else when in a relationship?

I feel completely in love with one of my closest friends who I have known for a few years now. I've been in a relationship for two months, but I just don't feel the same way with him as I do with my male friend, who is gay. My friend treats me so well and I trust him 100% whereas the man I'm seeing at times can be very clingy and controlling. I fond myself dreaming about my friend all the time and it saddens me we can never be together. I feel guilty that I don't feel the same way about my boyfriend, but he just doesn't make me feel as happy and loved as my gay friend does. What should I do about it? Any suggestions?
