Days of our lives, Why don't they hire Eva Tamargo (Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald from Pions) to play Rafe's mom?

Eva Tamargo played the Matriarch of the Lopez Fitzgerald family on Pions for it's entire 8 year run, but wouldn't' it be nice if they hired her to play Rafe, Ariana and Gabbie's mom? She was such a good actress on Pions and she looks so much like Ariana.
