Can anyone explain and help me understand my MRI results of the Spine?
You have a bulging disc between your lowest vertebrae of your low back and the first part of your sacrum (L5-S1). The bulging disc is compressing the nerve root at that level which is causing the pain down into your leg. 2.The natural arch in your low back is mildly decreased from normal (may or may not be causing some of your symptoms). 3.One of the small joints of your L5 vertebrae has some arthritis-like changes 5.the positioning of your L5 on the S1 (top portion of sacrum) is one further in front (whereas normally they are aligned with one on top of the other with the disc in between). My recommendation is that you go to physical therapy. I treat lots of patients with this and they get great relief. You will need a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy and you can take that to a PT of your choice. Choose one convenient to where you live, not just wherever the doctor tells you to go.
